If you'd like to get to know me, all I can say is that the 2 best ways would be through my art, and my music. You have a key to my art via links present on this page & my journal. For one of the biggest keys to my heart, you can visit my "radio station" on Blip.fm. I am a total music junky, something of a romantic, and wear my sappiness on my sleeve, more or less. ;) But you can see much of my personality there- beit funny, silly, sad, angry, vengeful.. happy... As I'm sure some of you well know, for a short while this journal was private/friends-only. But after some time, thoughtful consideration & a dose of heartfelt contemplation, (not to mention a bit of soul-searching and a good ol' heaven-inspired about-face of attitude), I realized how stupid that truly is. (At least in my situation. I know others have their own, very serious reasons for making their journals private/FO.) So I'm opening up my journal once again. HOORAY!!! ^_-

So as of now, I would officially like to re-invite anyone and everyone to read, if they'd like to. My theory is that if you want to read, you will, and if you don't, you won't. Simple as that. If you come here just to pick, taunt me, tease me, or otherwise treat me badly, then likely you'll do it at your own computer, w/or w/o your friends, and there's nothing I can do about it. If however you do decide to try & create drama here @ my journal or for me/my lovedones in RL over what you see/read here, we'll talk then, and I will deal with you.

But I don't want to create more problems (for myself or others) before they occur.. or burn bridges before they're ever even built. (Lord knows I have enough problems already w/o trying to alienate people who actually do truly care about me, my life, and my thoughts.) So read on if that is your venture, o intrepid visitor... Hail, and welcome! ^_^

WELCOME, EVERYONE!!

As for a brief synopsis of me:
I'm an artist/singer/do-everything-else-that's-artsy gal, predominantly from Northern VA. I'm not sure where my life is going or what's going to happen in my future, but I do know that I want to move out of the VA/DC/MD/PA area, and that I love my two cats, Skye and Ouna, and my two ratties, Shadow and Houdini. ^_^

Lately I've also been getting involved in podcasting. Therefore I've created an internet "radio show" called Eclectica. :) If you'd like to hear a diverse, wide range of music that spans every genre from Arabic and Indian to Pop, Folk & Celtic, come on by n' have a listen! ^_^

Beyond that.. a while back I came to realize that I need to make some drastic, permanent changes in my life. Not only in the way I do things, but also in the way I think of things as well. (Working on that, "as we speak.") We'll see how all of that goes.. as it's a lot easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk. Some of us are stronger than others. :) Some would say I' pretty stable, others would say I'm pretty cracked. Depends on who ya talk to I guess.. and on which day... ;)

Regardless, I'm doing my best to walk the right path, and I hope only to meet the Good in my future- or at least be able to handle the bad with grace, intelligence, wisdom and kindness.
